Though Yellow isn’t dead yet, it will be one day. Of that we can be sure. Our desire is not to keep it alive just because, but to keep going as long as it has life for us and the other people involved. This new Yellow is an experiment that will only come alive if people are actively engaged. If it doesn’t engage people then it will fade away. Which might be what happens. That is absolutely a possibility.
Another is that, after another period, which could be short or long, it morphs again, or dissolves, or buds off into separate parts, or becomes part of something else (like a mitochondria being subsumed into a human cell). Who knows? We are open to all these possibilities and others we can’t imagine.
The important thing is that it doesn’t become a zombie, existing rather than living, being kept in existence through inertia, nostalgia, laziness or a lack of courage.
