Collaborators are invited in response to the ideas and themes that come up.
Sometimes we choose who to ask based on a shift or change of energy or mood. So it isn't always about content or subject matter.
We use a wealth of diverse collaborators - thus far, almost as many as participants.
They are kindling for conversation.
We ask them to bring what we call 'sprinkles and toppings' - brief, imaginative or provocative inputs that act as thought starters.
It isn't their job to be an expert, or convince participants of anything, but to share what they know (or don't know) and what they care about or are interested in.
There are many different ways they contribute and the kinds of inputs they give us aren't just intellectual, as you can see from the list below.
Once they have contributed, they become part of Yellow and are invited to Sidestream events so they become an active part of our network.
We are both delighted and thankful to have them involved.
